| For the second time in less than 18 hours, the Muskies took part in a penalty shootout but this time they weren't able to pick up the extra point. In regulation, Lindsay built up a three goal lead as they came out flying before letting the Derbys right back in it with four of their own. Chad Jones, Kyle Stojsin and Ryan Oliver all scored in the first seven minutes of the game but it took a Cam Granger effort half way through the third period to rescue the game for the Muskies when he made it 4-4. It was Granger's fourth point of the game as he assisted all three earlier goals. Other Lindsay players picking up assists in the game were Stojsin, Aaron Keaney, Alex Charette, Alex Fiset and Mike Wills. Chris Fearneley started in net but gave way to Richard Nerland at the halfway point. |
